Paintball Safety

1. Players must wear a head protection system that includes goggles and full face and ear protection. (Only goggles specifically designed for paintball can dependably protect you.)

2. A player must never lift or remove his/her goggles while on the playing field.

3. When not on the playing field, players must utilize a barrel bag to ensure a paintball is not discharged from the paintball marker.

4. Players must use a chronograph to check the speed at which paintballs are leaving the marker every time they play paintball. Players must never play with a marker that is shooting paintballs in excess of 300 feet per second.

5. Any work on a paintball marker, beyond the recommended maintenance, should be done by a certified air smith.

6. The loader and the air source must be removed from a paintball marker before you attempt to clean it.

7. Players should only play at insured commercial paintball fields.

8. The only physical contact allowed on the playing field is a hand shake before or after the game.

9. If at anytime during a game a player or a referee observes something unsafe, the game must stop at once.

10. Players must listen to and obey the directions of the field staff.
